Many students dress very casually in jeans or shorts, t-shirts, yoga pants or leggings, and comfortable shoes. Most importantly, wear what you feel comfortable dancing in.
No, it is not necessary to buy special dancing shoes. However, rubber sole shoes are not recommended because you will stick to the floor. Some ladies find it easier to dance in heels. If you decide you want to invest in dance shoes as you will notice huge difference in your dancing, your ease to move around, and your ability to spin. Please contact us as we can fit you and find you the shoe appropriate for your foot. We order them and can have them to you in 5 business days. Dance shoes are highly recommended for the Ladies Styling & Spinning Course and the intermediate Level Courses.

We recommend that you take private lessons. These are ideal for anyone who:
feels shy in group classes
wants to learn at a faster pace than group classes
wants to supplement his/her group classes
wants to improve specific aspects of his/her dancing (style, spinning, footwork, timing, etc.)
wants to learn something not taught in our group classes (afro-cuban, body-movement, or choreography)

In your private lesson, your instructor will cover what you want to learn, focus on your problem areas, and work at your pace. Plus, it can be scheduled at your convinience. You are in complete control!
